The next scheduled meeting will be
at the chapter headquarters located at 1150 SE Dock St. in Oak Harbor
on Tuesday May 27, 2008 at 6:30pm. For anyone that would

Director is also available for questions regarding volunteering in
disaster services. Her email is

Mary encourages anyone that is
interested in becoming a member of the North Whidbey Disaster Action team
to take the Introduction to Disaster Class that can be found on the
American Red Cross National website www.redcross.org then follow the link to disaster
services. Introduction to Disaster
Services is the first item under spot light items on the right side of the
page. The on line class takes about an hour and is very well laid out and
informative.
Once you have completed the on
line class print out the last page for verification and then contact the
chapter Volunteer Resource Department at volunteer@islandredcross.org
or at 360-675-2912 or 1-888-216-5727 to start the process to become a
